I am one of two older brothers to Tyler Haymore. I am married to Cody Haymore and currently have two children with a third on the way. I graduated from CSU Chico with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Construction Management and have successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. I work as a Civil Engineer, in addition to running the small business my wife and I own and operate.
Tyler and I have been by each other’s side for all of life’s hardships and achievements. We have been basically inseparable our entire lives. I tried to always set a positive example for Tyler, whether it is graduating college, advancing my Civil Engineering career, or growing the small business my wife and I started together. I have always tried to demonstrate that anything is possible.
My goal for the foundation is to help encourage others to follow their passion, just as my brother, Tyler Haymore, did his. I hope this foundation can make positive impacts in recipients’ lives and in turn they are able to positively contribute to their community.
I am the proud wife of Tyler Haymore. Tyler and I married on October 7, 2017 in Winters, California. Together we have a cat named Ivy and a basset hound named Moose. I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Communication from California State University, Chico. I was recently accepted into the Yuba College Nursing Program (ADN) this coming Fall 2018.
Tyler and I met at Chico State in 2009, soon after became best friends and began dating in 2012. Tyler proposed on December 24, 2015 while visiting home from flight school at Eagle Vistas in Florida. Tyler and I got married at a beautiful venue in Winters, California surrounded by our closest family and friends. I was beyond happy and so blessed that I got to marry the love of my life, and I am so honored that he chose me. I knew the first time I met him that there was something special about him. Tyler had a smile that could light up a room, a laugh that made his shoulders move up and down (which made everyone else chuckle) and a hug that could fill your heart.
It was a goal for Tyler and I to pursue our dreams of him becoming an AG pilot and for me to become a nurse. My goal for this foundation is to help other individuals pursue their ambitions. My hope for the future of this foundation in honor of Tyler Graham Haymore is to make a difference to many people chasing their dreams.
I have been friends with, and treated as part of, Tyler Haymore’s family for the past twenty four years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida. I have also received a Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Dane School of Law at Hofstra University. I currently work as a compliance consultant to registered investment advisers and broker-dealers.
I was extremely fortunate twenty four years ago when I befriended Tyler’s older brother, Travis Haymore. I was fortunate because not only did I make a life-long friend but I also gifted a second family. From the first time I met Tyler, he was always happy and could brighten anyone’s day with his energy and love for life. I enjoyed every opportunity I had to be around Tyler. He had such passion for his interests and it was infectious. I am confident that he never met a person that he didn’t make laugh. The world is inarguably less bright in his absence.
I want to see this foundation flourish and help other achieve their dreams. In doing so, I believe Tyler’s memory will be kept alive in both those whom had the honor to know him and those whom did not.
I am the proud Momma Bear of Tyler Haymore and his siblings. After life changes, I found myself a single mother to four very young children and a need to support them and myself.
While working full-time and raising my children, I returned to school at night to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I was fortunate to have an employer at the time with a generous tuition assistance program, which helped relieve the financial stress of pursuing an education to better my career possibilities and future income potential. Through continuing my education, I was able to achieve my Bachelor’s Degree, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, and progress in my career over the years from an Executive Assistant to now the Vice President, Human Resources for a manufacturing company in Sacramento. I would never say it was easy, but I can tell you, it has been worth every struggle to get my homework done, study for tests, and be diligent at work to earn promotions, which allowed me to provide for my family.
Through the Tyler Haymore Memorial Scholarship, in addition to keeping memories of Tyler alive, it is my hope that we are able to help alleviate some of the financial concern for others pursuing education to achieve their career aspirations.
My name is Kyle O’Neal. I own Alpine Roofing here in Yuba City. I live with my beautiful wife of 10 years, Lesley, and our 3 awesome girls, Carley (5), Whitney (4), and our little Molly (2). We all love to have fun and are always on the go! From house boating and fishing in the summer time, to snowmobiling and throwing snow balls in the winter.
The O’Neal and Haymore families have been very close friends for 20+ years. We’ve gone on numerous houseboat/camping trips together, family vacations, and many concerts. We all even took a trip down to Daytona Beach, Florida in 2008 to watch the 50th running of the Daytona 500. 20 years together might not seem like a long time, but we’ve made a lifetime of memories that I know I will cherish forever.
Tyler was such a genuine person. He was always sincere, and I knew no matter what, he would be there for me and my family. He was always happy to see someone else doing well or bettering themselves. With this scholarship I hope to help other people, so Ty can look down and feel proud that his name is continuing to help others better themselves and reach their goals.
